I've been playing with my 'Ahoy, Matey!' set. The pirate is great for watercolouring. I used the aqua painters with the inkpads (squish the pad before opening it and you will have a little pool of colour on the inside of the lid once it is opened) to colour him in. To make the window I used the 1 3/4" square punch twice to make a rectangle, I then used the mat pack and the paper piercer around the window. The scallop was made using the scallop edge punch and the 'Happy Birthday' is from the It's Your Birthday set
This next card is for a card swap I'm in. The theme is masculine cards. I seem to have problems with this theme so hence the kiddy card!
I used some chunky glitter for the water. I stamped the top of the pirate on the inside of the card and the treasure map X on the envelopes - no more naked envelopes!
